The new CTEK D250S Dual 12V battery charger has the benefit of an auxiliary input which can be connected directly to solar panels without the need for a regulator, offering free power from the sun.

Perfect for marine plus on & off-road vehicles the D250S Dual charger keeps 12 volt batteries fully charged and ready to go as it manages charge current from the alternator and/or solar panels.

If fitted, solar panels produce power as efficiently as possible through the CTEK D250S Dual’s built-in Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT). The MPPT circuitry enables the charger to seek the most effective combination of solar panel voltage and alternator current to maximise incoming power and minimise the time taken for a battery to be fully charged, allowing the battery to constantly remain at its maximum capacity.

With CTEK D250S the alternator can work as a enhancer and will fully charge the battery on a fraction of the normal time it takes. Six of the eight step from the standard CTEK 8-step charge curve is now built into a charger that takes its energy from the alternator.

CTE K D250S is also an Active Battery Isolator, which means that a system with more than one battery can be charged with multiple step charging. The D250S always provides a perfect charge as it adjusts charge to alternative power sources and the surrounding temperature
